Tim Linford BSc(Eng) ACGI CEng MIET MCIBSE, the principal consultant, graduated from Imperial College and is a Chartered Engineer. He has had much experience in both private & public sectors including over 30 years experience in energy management and building services. As Energy Manager of Dorset County Council he led the team that reduced the county's fuel and water usage by over 25% leading to savings of over £1m per year.

Tim Linford is Chairman of the Wessex Energy and Environmental Management Group, worked for many years as an approved energy consultant for the Governments Carbon Trust Programme, has trained as a lead auditor for ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and is a CIBSE registered Low Carbon Consultant and Energy Assessor.

Spare time activities include helping young people achieve the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and helping his wife run a livestock Small Holding.
