Tim Linford BSc(Eng) ACGI CEng MIET MCIBSE, the principal consultant, graduated from Imperial College and is a Chartered Engineer. He has had much experience in both private & public sectors including over 30 years experience in energy management and building services. As Energy Manager of Dorset County Council he led the team that reduced the county's fuel and water usage by over 25% leading to savings of over £1m per year.

Recent projects include:

energy surveys in offices including major headquarters sites, residential homes, leisure centres, libraries, schools/colleges, hotels, factories, MoD and NHS sites

evaluating fuel procurement processes

advice on the design of new buildings

modelling alternative solar gain control devices for an office refurbishment

advising on the building services requirements for computer rooms and disaster recovery strategy.

assessing contractors for government and industry schemes through UKAS accredited certification body

Producing web sites for small businesses and organisations

Tim Linford is Chairman of the Wessex Energy and Environmental Management Group, an approved energy consultant for the Governments Carbon Trust Programme, has trained as a lead auditor for ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and is a CIBSE registered Low Carbon Consultant.

Spare time activities include helping young people achieve the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and helping his wife run a livestock Small Holding.
